“The University of Pittsburgh Phi Beta Lambda strives to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.”
Who We Are Phi Beta Lambda is the world’s largest and oldest student business organization. Even though we have Greek letters, we are not a fraternity. We are the University of Pittsburgh’s chapter of the popular high school business organization: Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). At the University of Pittsburgh, we are a professional business organization that provides its members leadership opportunities along with endless amount of support from peers and networks of professionals and alumni. PBL is a highly renowned business organization not only at the University of Pittsburgh, but also across the Pittsburgh area and the entire country. As a new member, you will be given numerous opportunities to be a standout business leader with the support and guidance of experienced members and business professionals. PBL will develop your professionalism and lead to friendships that last a lifetime.
What We Do Pitt PBL is proud of its range of diverse and dynamic activities. Each year, we participate in numerous professional and service events, making us a highly respected group within CBA, the University, and the Pittsburgh community. There are many opportunities to participate in workshops and lectures led by successful business leaders within our strong PBL alumni and professional network. Members also have the opportunity to compete in business related events with other PBL chapters from other schools across the nation. Although we work hard, Phi Beta Lambda also provides numerous social events to relax, have fun, and bond with fellow members.
