Dinner for dimes
Dinner for Dimes is a unique networking dinner that offers the benefit of raising money for our national philanthropy, the March of Dimes. Founded by PBL alumnus Michael Wilkinson in 2011, the event takes place in the fall at the University Club on Pitt's campus, where ten companies have the chance to enjoy a meal with 60 business students and learn more about their career interests, school activities, and personal lives. These company representatives will be seated with students interested in that particular company or a related career field. A family that benefited from the support of the March of Dimes also attends, and conveys the importance and benefit of such a great organization. After the event, there is an opportunity for company representatives to network with every student in attendance, especially the ones who sat at different tables. The overall goal of the night is to provide a relaxed networking atmosphere while raising money for such a great cause.
